This smoothie is sure to keep you full for a while. With 20 grams of protein (depending on the powder you use) and the healthy fats incorporated in this recipe this could definitely be a meal option for you when you’re on the go.

Directions

Step 1

In a high-speed blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Add more water or ice cubes as needed to achieve the desired consistency.

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

¼ cup water or coconut water, plus more as needed

¼ avocado

1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder

2 tablespoons  hemp hearts

2 tablespoon flax seeds

1 large frozen banana, roughly chopped

¼ cup frozen blueberries

2 stalks celery 

½ cup parsley or cilantro

1 or 2 ice cubes
