This tropical smoothie bowl is a delicious morning treat enhanced with fresh greens and natural caffeine to kick start your morning. The natural caffeine comes from the matcha powder used in this recipe. Matcha is also rich in disease fighting antioxidants.
Directions
Step 1
Add all the smoothie ingredients into a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth.
Step 2
Pour into a bowl and sprinkle on the toppings of your choice. Enjoy with a spoon!
Ingredients
½ cup (125 mL) coconut water
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 cup kale
1 large stalk celery
1 large frozen banana
¼ cup avocado
1 slice of organic lemon with peel
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon (20 mL) fresh lime juice
2 cubes to 3 ice
1 teaspoon Matcha green tea powder
TOPPING IDEAS: Gluten free Granola, Sliced banana and mango, Melted coconut butter, large flake dried coconut, Hemp hearts
