Description
This cheerfully yellow smoothie packs a healthy punch. The lemon, ginger, and matcha powder work together as a detox trio. The lemon aids the liver in it’s detoxification process, the ginger helps to soothe and assist digestion, and the cayenne pepper contains capsaicin which has anti-inflammatory properties. While the cayenne does add a pleasant and unexpected kick, feel free to omit this ingredient if you would like.
Directions
Step 1
Add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Ingredients
1½ teaspoon matcha powder
1 cup filtered water
1 large fresh mango, pitted and flesh scooped out, or 1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 large frozen banana, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice plus 2 slices of organic lemon with peel
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Ice cubes
